Press Release March 10, 2010 LWCC recently recognized AMPOL as one of the 70 safest companies of its 22,000 policy holders for third straight year New Iberia, LA March 10, 2010: American Pollution Control Corporation, a 24-hour emergency response environmental contractor, was recently recognized by the Louisiana Workman's Comp Corporation (LWCC) as one of the 70 safest companies of its 22,000 policy holders. The Safest 70 award is given for exemplary dedication to safety and performance and is based on losses and loss control prevention records. The latest award marks the third consecutive year that AMPOL has achieved the recognition, something not many of the 22,000 policy holders have achieved said LWCC representatives on hand for the award presentation. "We are currently maintaining our goal and keeping on track with our safety program and desired goals, which is to offer our employees the safest place to work," said AMPOL Safety Director Stephen Thubron. "We will continue to strive to be a leader in safety performance and are looking forward to participating in the OSHA SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) Program later in the year."
